- To enter the "partial derivative" symbol, click on the "math commands window" here and type in the word "partial."
- This should place the "partial derivative" symbol into your document.
- Afterwards, press space and type in the expression that you want to place with the "partial derivative" symbol.
- In this example we are typing in the expression "x sub n."
- Great! As you can see we have entered the "partial derivative" symbol with an expression. Congratulations!
