How-To: Update the formula display manually - OpenOffice.org Math
  1. This screencast demonstrates the procedure on how to update the formula display manually.
  2. To show this, first we shall make some changes to the formula by altering it here on the command window.
  3. As you can see here, we have changed the greek letter to a letter "a" in the english alphabet.
  4. Without the auto update feature though, the formula display, as you can see, doesn't register the changes.
  5. To update the formula display manually, first click on the "View" button here.
  6. Then, on the menu that opens, click on the option "Update."
  7. Great! As you can see the formula display has been updated. Congratulations!
