Drawing Bar
The Drawing bar holds the main drawing tools.
Selection
Allows you to select objects in the current document.

Rectangle
Draws a filled rectangle where you drag in the current document. Click where you want to place a corner of the rectangle, and drag to the size you want. To draw a square, hold down Shift while you drag.

Ellipse
Draws a filled oval where you drag in the current document. Click where you want to draw the oval, and drag to the size you want. To draw a circle, hold down Shift while you drag.

Text
Draws a text box where you click or drag in the current document. Click anywhere in the document, and then type or paste your text.

Curve
The Curve icon on the Drawing bar opens the Lines toolbar, where you can add lines and shapes to the current slide.

Connectors
|
|
Connector |
Open the Connectors toolbar, where you can add connectors to objects in the current slide. A connector is a line that joins objects, and remains attached when the objects are moved. If you copy an object with a connector, the connector is also copied.
There are four types of connector lines:

Standard (90-degree angle bends)

Line (two bends)
-
Straight
-
Curved
3D Objects
Open the 3D Objects toolbar, where you can add 3D shapes to the current slide.

Opens the Basic Shapes toolbar which you can use to insert graphics into your document.

Opens the Symbol Shapes toolbar from which you can insert graphics into your document.

Opens the Block Arrows toolbar from which you can insert graphics into your document.

Opens the Flowcharts toolbar from which you can insert graphics into your document.

Opens the Callouts toolbar from which you can insert graphics into your document.

Opens the Stars toolbar from which you can insert graphics into your document.

Points
Enables you to edit points on your drawing.
Glue Points
Enables you to edit glue points on your drawing.
To Curve
Converts the selected object to a Bézier curve.
To Polygon
Converts the selected object to a polygon (a closed object bounded by straight lines). The appearance of the object does not change. If you want, you can right-click and choose Edit Points to view the changes.
Mode
Modifies the shape, orientation or fill of the selected object(s).
