Properties of

Displays the properties for the current file, including statistics such as word count and the date the file was created.

Before saving a file under a new name (File - Save As), it is always a good idea to change the Description or User Defined properties of the file so that the properties do not conflict with those of the original document.

The Properties dialog contains the following tab pages:

General

Contains basic information about the current file.

Description

Contains descriptive information about the document.

User

Allows you to assign custom information fields to your document.

Internet

Sets the refresh and redirect options for an HTML page.

Back

Resets modified values back to the OpenOffice.org default values.

Depending on your access rights to the file, you might not see all of tabs in the Properties dialog.
