How-To: Change the font of text for continous use. - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. It is possible to change the Font styles of text as you write a sentence or paragraph.
  2. You can do this by changing the currently selected Font Style before typing in your next set of text.
  3. The currently selected Font Style is indicated here.
  4. Click on the down-arrow to view the list of available Font Styles.
  5. For this example we are chosing the font "Arial Black."
  6. Once done, notice that when you type the next line of text, it should have changed to the font style we have just chosen.
  7. To change to another Font Style for the next line of text, go back to the Fonts Menu.
  8. Click again on the down-arrow.
  9. For this example we are going to revert back to the Font "Times New Roman," which was the original font of the paragraph.
  10. Click here to scroll down the list and find the font "Times New Roman."
  11. Once you have found it just click on it once.
  12. Notice that the Font Style you have selected is always the one indicated in the Fonts Menu.
  13. Now try and type the next line of text.
