How-To: Change the font of selected texts. - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. One way of changing the size of the text is by selecting it and using the formatting toolbar.
  2. Do this by selecting the text first. Click and hold the left mouse button near one end of the text.
  3. While holding the button move your mouse, notice that the selected text gets highlighted.
  4. Once at the end of the text you want selected release the mouse button to stop selecting text.
  5. Next, go to the formatting toolbar and find the Font Size menu here.
  6. click on this down-arrow to see a list of Font Sizes.
  7. As an example we are going to change the text to the size "20." Just click on it once.
  8. Great! The font size of the selected text has changed to 20.
  9. Congratulations! You have learned how to change Font sizes.
