How-To: Create an Agenda from a Template - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. To create an Agenda from a Template, first you must open the Template file.
  2. Do this by clicking on the "down-arrow" here on the "New Document" button.
  3. Next click on Templates and Documents.
  4. The Templates and Documents window opens.
  5. If it isn't selected already, click on the templates button here.
  6. A list of available templates should appear. Click on the template you want, in this case it is the "myAgendaTemplate."
  7. Then click on "Open."
  8. Your Agenda Template opens.
  9. Now you can start making your Agenda by typing the information you want below the appropriate headings.
  10. Just replace the place holders by deleting them and type in what you want.
  11. Now just repeat the process with your other headings.
  12. Now, check if the appropriate topics, persons and times are present in the Agenda table. Just edit the things you feel necessary.
  13. Then just continue on to fill out information under the other headings.
  14. Once you're done editing the Agenda you can now save it as a document. To do this just click on the "Save Button."
  15. The save window appears. Just click here and start typing in the filename for your Agenda.
  16. Then, just click on "Save."
  17. Great! the Template has now been saved as a text document.
  18. Now you can print or distribute it anyway you like.
  19. Excellent! You have created an Agenda from a Template.
