How-To: Export a text document as a BibTeX file - OpenOffice.org Writer
- To export a text document as a BibTeX file, first click on the "File" option here.
- Next, once the menu drops down, click on the option "Export..."
- The export window should open. Choose a location and a filename for your BibTeX file. For this example we are going to use the same location and name as the original document.
- Now, look for the file format field and click on this down arrow or triangle to view the list of file formats.
- When the list drops down click on the option "BibTeX (.bib)"
- Afterwards, click on "Save."
- Great! We have exported this document as a BibTeX file. Congratulations!
