  1. To find a tablulator in a document, click on the "Edit" menu.
  2. Select the "Find & Replace..." item from the menu.
  3. The "Find & Replace" dialog appears.
  4. To search for a special character like tabulator, you need to use regular expressions. Click on the "More Options" button to extend the dialog.
  5. Check the "Regular expression" checkmark.
  6. Clcik in the "Search for" field and type "\t" as a placeholder for the tabulator character.
  7. To start the search, click the "Find" button.
  8. Notice that the first occurence of a tabulator character is highlighted in the table of contents.
  9. To advance to the next occurence, click in the "Find" button again.
  10. To end the search, click on the "Close" button.
