How-To: Format Selected Text in Bold - OpenOffice.org Writer
- To format your text and make it "Bold," first you must select it.
- First, click and hold the left mouse button near the start of your text.
- While holding the button, move your mouse to slowly select the text you want.
- Notice the text becomes highlighted as you select it.
- Once you're done release the mouse button to stop selecting text.
- Now go to the formatting toolbar and find the "Bold" icon here. Click on it once.
- As you can see the text has now changed and is now "Bold"
- Great! You now know how to change the font to "Bold."
