How-To: Hide Text Boundaries - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. Here you see the "text boundaries" marked with a gray border.
  2. To hide the gray border along the "text boundaries", click on the "View" menu.
  3. Notice that the "Text Boundaries" item has a check mark indicating that the boundaries are displayed.
  4. To hide the border around the text, select the "Text Boundaries" item from the menu.
  5. Notice, that the gray border indicating the "text boundaries" disappeared.
