Change a Bulleted List into a Numbered List - OpenOffice.org Writer

How-To: Change a Bulleted List into a Numbered List - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. To change a numbered list to a bulleted one, first you must select the list items you want to change.
  2. Do this, by first clicking and holding the left mouse button on any part of the first list item.
  3. While holding the mouse button move your mouse downward to start selecting text.
  4. Continue moving the mouse until you have selected at least some parts of the last item's text, then release the mouse button.
  5. Now move your mouse to the formatting toolbar and click here on "Bullets."
  6. Notice that the numbers have now changed into bullets.
  7. You can also change bulleted lists to numbered lists the same way.
  8. After selecting the bulleted items you want, just click here on the "Numbering" button.
  9. Great! As you can see the bullets have chaged back into numbers.
  10. Congratulations! You can now interchange bullets and numbers.
