How-To: Change a Bulleted List into a Numbered List - OpenOffice.org Writer
- To change a numbered list to a bulleted one, first you must select the list items you want to change.
- Do this, by first clicking and holding the left mouse button on any part of the first list item.
- While holding the mouse button move your mouse downward to start selecting text.
- Continue moving the mouse until you have selected at least some parts of the last item's text, then release the mouse button.
- Now move your mouse to the formatting toolbar and click here on "Bullets."
- Notice that the numbers have now changed into bullets.
- You can also change bulleted lists to numbered lists the same way.
- After selecting the bulleted items you want, just click here on the "Numbering" button.
- Great! As you can see the bullets have chaged back into numbers.
- Congratulations! You can now interchange bullets and numbers.
