How-To: Create New Text Document - OpenOffice.org Writer
- We assume an empty OpenOffice application.
- To create a new text document, click on the "File" menu.
- Select the "New" menu item from the menu.
- Select the "Text Document" item from the sub menu.
- To enter text to your document, click in the "Main" window.
- You can recognize a new (unsaved) document by the title "Untitled", possibly followed by a number.
- Done.
