How-To: Open a password protected document - OpenOffice.org Writer
- To open a password protected document, first click here on "File."
- Next, on the menu that drops down, click on "Open..."
- The open dialog window should open.
- Now, look for the password protected document you want to open and click on it once.
- Afterwards, click here on "Open."
- A window should open asking for the password for the document. Type in the password for the document and then click on "OK."
- Great! The password protected document has been opened. Congratulations!
