How-To: Open a Writer html document (.html) - OpenOffice.org Writer
- To open a Writer "html" document, first click here on "File."
- Then, on the menu that drops down, click on "Open..."
- The Open window should appear. In this area you should see the documents you can open, which includes html documents.
- To make it easier though, click here on the down arrow beside the field for "Files as type."
- A list of file types should appear. Click on the option "HTML Document (OpenOffice.org Writer)(*.html)"
- Afterwards, the display should only show Writer html documents. Just click once on the one you want to open and then click on the "Open" button below.
- Great! We have opened the Writer html document. Congratulations!
