How-To: Open a Writer "html" document using the toolbar - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. To open a Writer html document using the toolbar, fIrst look for a button with a folder icon in the toolbar.
  2. This is the "Open" button. Click on it once.
  3. The "Open" window should appear. To find html documents more easily, click here on the down arrow for the field "Files of type."
  4. A list of file types should appear. Click on the option "HTML Document (OpenOffice.org Writer) (*.html)
  5. Now, only the html documents should be displayed here. Just click once on the one you want.
  6. Afterwards, click on "Open."
  7. Great! The html document has been opened. Congratulations!
