How-To: Set Single Line Spacing. - OpenOffice.org Writer
  1. To change a paragraph's line spacing to single line, first click anywhere on the paragraph to select it.
  2. Afterwards click here on "Format."
  3. Next, In the menu that appears, click on "Paragraph..."
  4. The paragraph dialog window appears. Look for the line spacing options and click here on this down arrow.
  5. You will see the different line spacing options. Just click on the option "Single."
  6. Then click on OK.
  7. Notice that the paragraph we've selected is now at single line spacing.
  8. Great! You've learned to change paragraph line spacings.
