How-To: Save Text Document - OpenOffice.org Writer
- Assume you have a document that you have changed.
- Lets Edit some more. To replace the "<Subject>" placeholder, click on it.
- Start typing a subject line.
- To save the changes, click on the "File" menu.
- Select the "Save" item from the menu.
- Watch the progress in the "Status" bar.
- You can verify that a document is saved by checking that the "Save" icon in the "Standard" toolbar is not active.
